Dear Friends,
Almost one year to the day, Hurricane Ida destroyed our indoor swimming pool at the Union Clubhouse. The structure needed to be completely replaced because it was beyond repair.
As an organization, we did what we always do… We kept our heads up, went to work and made things happen for the kids!
I am proud to announce that our new seven lane pool is ready to open with swim lessons and swim team beginning on September 19th for our Tidal Wave Swim Team and youth swim lessons.
Our next project which we have already started, is a total renovation of our two locker rooms! The renovation of our locker rooms will also be completed by September 19th.
I want to take this opportunity to thank those individuals, corporations and foundations who supported our fund drive and made this all possible!
