On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Union County Magnet High School standouts Alycia Searwar and Lisa Frias’ current college team, the Bowie State Bulldogs, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Sue Morris Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at Sue Morris Sports Complex against Ashland Eagles.
