The County was able to give 30 pillows full of Netflix cards, popcorn, and bookmarks with inspirational quotes to youth about to transition into foster homes as part of our Comfort & Care Pillow Project. Thanks to our partners who volunteered time and money to make this happen: Plainfield Parks & Recreation, Cooperative Counseling Services, the NJ Department of Children and Families, Girl Scout Troops 40954 (Plainfield) and 40188 (Hillside), BYN Iron Works, Pediatric Dentistry of Union, Stop & Shop of Elizabeth, Rita Pharmacy of Roselle Park, Italian Village of Plainfield, and Applebee's of Union – as well as the Volunteering is Priceless (VIP) Program.
