Today. Commissioner Bette Jane Kowalski stopped by the Rahway Family Success Center in support of the Union County FRESH START program. The program features a mobile trailer with shower, bathroom and laundry facilities, along with other resources and guidance for those in need.
FRESH START is coordinated by the Union County Department of Human Services. It is a public and private partnership, including local nonprofit organizations, that provides direct services to those in need.
FRESH START provides a central entry point for a continuum of services for the homeless, helping them connect them with transformational resources that will help them on the pathway to self-sufficiency.
