County of Union issued the following announcement.
Today Undersheriff Dennis Burke retired from the Union County Sheriff’s Office after more than 27 years of service His retirement was marked with a traditional walkout ceremony on the steps of the historic Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth.
Also in attendance were Commissioners Sergio Granados and Lourdes Leon as well as County Manager, Ed Oatman and Deputy County Manager, Amy Wagner.
