14edited

Town Hardware Inc will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

New Jersey lost 589 soldiers in the Korean war and 920 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 26 Westfield Ave, Clark will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW John L. Ruddy Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Town Hardware Inc while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Town Hardware Inc is located at 26 Westfield Ave, Clark, New Jersey. This location is owned by Mary Tobia, represented by George Marinos and managed by John Milkewicz.
