On Saturday, March 1, former Cranford Senior High School standout Sophia Demarco’s current college team, the Seton Hall Pirates, lost 18-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Essex County Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field against Georgetown Hoyas.
