On Saturday, March 1, former Cranford Senior High School standout Dennis McCaffery’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at UT Baseball Field against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
