Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi announced on Mar. 20 that sample ballots for the April 21 Westfield Annual School Election are now accessible to voters. The sample ballots can be viewed and downloaded from the County Clerk’s elections website as well as through Union County Votes, a free app available for all mobile devices.

The availability of sample ballots aims to help voters prepare ahead of the upcoming election. Rajoppi said, “The website and app offer a convenient way for voters to familiarize themselves with their ballot, even before they receive their copy in the mail.” She added, “I urge all of our residents to exercise your right to preview and prepare for the upcoming election. Please visit our website to get informed, get ready, and let your voice be heard.”

In addition to digital access, the County Clerk’s office will mail sample ballots to all registered Westfield voters. The mailing process is scheduled to begin on or about April 2.

Voters who have questions about their sample ballots can contact the County Clerk’s Elections Division by calling 908-527-4996 or emailing ucvote@ucnj.org. More information about election services is also available at unioncountyvotes.com.

The release of sample ballots is intended to encourage voter participation and ensure that residents are informed ahead of casting their votes.
