On Friday, Feb. 21, former Westfield High Schooll standout Jack Chavez’s current college team, the Villanova Wildcats, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Winthrop Eagles.

The game took place at Winthrop Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Winthrop Ballpark against Winthrop Eagles.
