On Monday, March 3, former Cranford Senior High School standout Dennis McCaffery’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 15-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
