Assemblywoman Michele Matsikoudis, who represents New Jersey’s 21st Legislative District, shared a series of updates on her official X account in October 2025, highlighting constituent services and community engagement.

On October 8, Matsikoudis announced an upcoming event: “Save The Date Later this month, my team will be hosting Mobile Office Hours in Mountainside! Be sure to stop by on 10/21 to take advantage of this opportunity as we bring our quality constituent services right to you. Please email AswMatsikoudis@njleg.org with any questions!” According to her office, these mobile office hours are designed to provide residents with direct access to legislative assistance in their own communities.

The following day, on October 9, Matsikoudis shared her participation in a local law enforcement milestone: “Truly an honor to be in Long Hill Township last night to swear in Chief of Police Alexis Ciambriello, the municipality’s first female police chief! Looking forward to partnering with Chief Ciambriello to help protect our shared constituents.” The event marked a historic moment for Long Hill Township as it welcomed its first female police chief.

Later on October 9, Matsikoudis reported progress in constituent advocacy: “Breaking News My office has now recovered over $1.25 MILLION in direct benefits for constituents! Proudly continuing to deliver the quality service that residents deserve. If you’re facing any issue with state government, please contact my team at AswMatsikoudis@njleg.org!” Her office states that these recovered benefits include assistance with unemployment claims, healthcare access, and other state-related issues.

Matsikoudis serves the 21st Legislative District of New Jersey, which includes municipalities such as Mountainside and Long Hill Township. The district is part of the New Jersey General Assembly, the lower house of the New Jersey Legislature. Legislators often hold mobile office hours and community events as a way to remain accessible to their constituents and address local concerns directly.
