Assemblywoman Michele Matsikoudis, who represents New Jersey’s 21st Legislative District, recently shared updates and statements on her official social media account regarding local services, infrastructure projects, and religious observances.

On October 1, 2025, Matsikoudis highlighted her collaboration with local officials to improve access to motor vehicle services in Warren Township. She wrote: “Proud to have partnered with local officials to bring the @NJ_MVC Mobile Unit to Warren Township recently! Was great stopping by to chat with residents alongside Deputy Mayor @crosonforwarren to ensure that they were receiving the quality service we all deserve. Thank you, MVC!”

Later that day, she addressed concerns about delays in funding for a major transportation initiative. In her post dated October 1, 2025, Matsikoudis stated: “The Gateway Project is not a political bargaining chip – it’s a long-awaited lifeline for working NJ families who rely on safe, efficient commutes. Putting these funds on hold is unacceptable. District 21 residents deserve action, not more roadblocks.” The Gateway Project refers to a significant infrastructure effort aimed at improving rail connections between New Jersey and New York City. The project has faced multiple delays due to funding disputes between federal and state governments.

In another message posted on October 1, 2025, Matsikoudis extended well wishes to those observing Yom Kippur: “Wishing an easy fast to everyone in District 21 who observes the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown tonight. G’mar Chatima Tova – may you be inscribed in the Book of Life for a good year ahead!”

Michele Matsikoudis serves as an Assemblywoman representing communities in Union County and surrounding areas within New Jersey’s 21st Legislative District.
