Kean University student Emily Lari identified an opportunity to introduce pickleball to the campus and took the initiative to establish a club. Her efforts, driven by leadership, determination, and marketing skills, transformed a simple idea into a vibrant community for students.

Lari’s endeavor showcases how individual initiatives can foster communal activities and engagement among university students. By leveraging her understanding of marketing and leadership, she was able to gather interest and participation in the sport.

The club has become a space where students can come together, enjoy the game of pickleball, and build connections with one another. This initiative highlights the impact of student-led activities in enhancing campus life.
