Two teams of Kean University students, faculty, and staff participated in the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in Queens, New York. The event served as a celebration of Chinese culture and provided an opportunity for the university community to showcase their competitive spirit.

“Experience the excitement and see how Cougars climb higher — even on a dragon boat,” said one participant.

The festival featured various activities aimed at promoting cultural exchange and understanding. The Kean University teams joined other participants in celebrating this vibrant tradition, demonstrating both athletic prowess and cultural appreciation.
