Groundwork Elizabeth announced on Mar. 10 that the Tour de Elizabeth, a 15-mile community bike ride, will take place on May 17 with a start time of 9:00 a.m.

The event is described as one of Elizabeth’s favorite community traditions and invites residents to sign up and prepare for the ride. The Tour de Elizabeth aims to bring together participants from across the city for a shared outdoor experience.

Organizers said that those who wish to participate but do not have their own bicycles can still join. Groundwork Elizabeth is partnering with Unlimited Biking, which will be on site to provide bicycles and helmets for riders who need them. More information about this partnership is available through the event organizers.

Details regarding early T-shirt pickup are expected to be announced soon, according to Groundwork Elizabeth. Organizers encouraged interested participants to stay tuned for further updates.

The annual event continues to serve as an opportunity for community engagement and physical activity in the city.
