On Friday, Feb. 28, former Jonathan Dayton High School standout Justin Teixeira’s current college team, the Kean Cougars, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the New York Violets.
The game took place at Jim Hynes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Violets this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Bauer Field against NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
