On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Cranford Senior High School standout Dennis McCaffery’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 15-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Montevallo Falcons.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Falcons this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at UT Baseball Field against Quincy Hawks.
