On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Cranford Senior High School standout Dennis McCaffery’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgia Bobcats.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Montevallo Falcons.
