On Saturday, March 8, former Cranford Senior High School standout Dennis McCaffery’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.

The game took place at CSUSM Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
