Strong winds over 40 mph are forecasted to continue through Friday in Clark Township, according to the local Department of Emergency Management. The recent rainfall has left the ground saturated, which could lead to an increased risk of downed branches and fallen trees.

The department noted that inflatable lawn decorations and other outdoor items may be particularly at risk in these weather conditions. Residents are encouraged to secure or bring inside any loose objects to help prevent property damage or potential safety hazards.

“Please use caution when outdoors and report any hazardous conditions as needed. Please reserve 911 for emergencies. All non-urgent calls to police, please use 732-388-3434,” stated the Clark Township Department of Emergency Management.

No injuries or major incidents have been reported so far, but officials urge continued vigilance until the weather improves.
