The Clark Department of Public Works will restart its seasonal bulk pickup program on Monday, March 9, beginning with Ward 2. The program will follow the usual monthly schedule: Ward 2 during the second week, Ward 3 in the third week, and Ward 4 in the fourth week of each month.

Originally, bulk pickup was set to begin on March 2 with Ward 1. However, lingering snow across Clark Township prevented crews from safely performing curbside collection. As a result, residents in Ward 1 will have their bulk items collected during the first week of April instead.

“We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to Ward 1 residents and appreciate your understanding as crews prioritized roadway safety,” stated the Department of Public Works.

The rotating schedule for bulk pickup will continue each month through October. Residents do not need to make an appointment for regular bulk item collection. Items should be placed at the curb on the Saturday and Sunday before a neighborhood’s scheduled pickup week.

A list detailing which items are accepted for curbside collection is available on the Clark Township website. Scrap metal and appliances require a separate appointment for pick-up; residents can request this service online.

“Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep Clark clean and safe,” said the Department of Public Works.
