Assemblywoman Michele Matsikoudis, who represents New Jersey’s 21st legislative district, recently used her social media platform to highlight community events and encourage public engagement. On August 4, 2025, she posted a reminder about National Night Out and shared resources for constituents to connect with her office.
In her first post on August 4, Matsikoudis wrote: “Today’s #MondaysWithMichele is a quick but important reminder that tomorrow is National Night Out! I hope you’ll all get the chance to visit an event near you to help support and learn more about our amazing first responders! https://t.co/n7U91o2JFR”
That same day, she also provided information for constituents seeking more details about her work and ways to stay informed: “Be sure to use this link to view my legislative portfolio, sign up for my office newsletter, and follow me on my other social media platforms: https://t.co/5qph09tqkD”
Following the events of National Night Out, Matsikoudis reported on August 6 that she attended several gatherings in her district. She stated: “A busy night across District 21! I had the honor of stopping by eight incredible National Night Out events from both Chathams, Bernards, Long Hill, Warren, Dunellen, Westfield, and Mountainside. https://t.co/dHP0Htqa8r”
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign held in cities across the United States aimed at promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The initiative seeks to foster relationships between residents and local law enforcement agencies.
Michele Matsikoudis has served as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly since January 2022.
