On Saturday, March 22, former Union County Magnet High School standouts Alycia Searwar and Lisa Frias’ current college team, the Bowie State Bulldogs, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shaw Bears.

The game took place at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m. at Lady Pirates Softball Stadium against Hampton Lady Pirates.
