On Friday, Feb. 14, former Union County Magnet High School standouts Alycia Searwar and Lisa Frias’ current college team, the Bowie State Bulldogs, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Elizabeth City State Vikings.
The game took place at Tyger River Park. This was their first matchup against the Vikings this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Sue Morris Sports Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
